Words of Congratulations

Weddings are such a joyous occasion for all of us. After all, we want to be a part of the celebrations in the union of the happy couple. However, there will be times when you wouldn't attend due to reasons that are beyond your control. Regardless of the reason behind your non-attendance, you as an invited guest should send a heartfelt message written in a card or letter form, addressed to the couple expressing your congratulatory message to both of them. A good way to begin you message may be in the form of a poem, verse or quotation on love and marriage, a lighthearted humor may be appropriate depending on how close you are to the couple. Write your personal thoughts on love and relationships, how it applies to them and future hopes and wishes for both of them. Sincerely apologize for not being able to attend their wedding and propose to get together after their honeymoon. Now, keep in mind when to send the card or letter. It will be best to send it before the wedding so that they will be notified before hand.
